LITERATURE
Literature. To be honest, for me this is the hardest subject in foundation. I think I finally found a weakness when it comes to English. In this course, I've learned about literary devices which making me realize that I have to explain and explore poems, stories and novels in depth, not only the surface. There are actually a lot of hidden meaning behind a writing.
Madam Naga is teaching us literature. For me, she is a very sophisticated lecturer. She is strict but I think she just wants the best for us. Her literature knowledge is undeniably wonderful. She aspires me in a way I actually want to improve this weakness of mine. I've never seen her face-to-face, only virtually though.
A S S E S M E N T
This is the first assessment for this course, the literature exhibition. This assessment is a group assignment. Well, it was quite hard too because we had to present it virtually, and making the video wasn't an easy task either. I'm just so thankful for my teammates that are super cooperative and creative. We managed to pull it together.
Mid-term examination. This is when I started to doubt my choice taking foundation in TESL. I'm grateful that I barely passed this examination, however I was feeling so down after I saw my marks. It was terrible lol (😔) I still cry every time I'm reminded of my answers huhuhu. Well, nothing comes easy, right. Gotta hustle for it.
Lastly, the novel presentation. Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly though it wasn't easy to present through online because of the connection and whatnot. But thank god, despite all that, me and my teammates managed to present it without problems.
